My Gardner-White Blog for a Grand

About four years ago I really wanted a dog, not just any dog, but a cute little Daschund.  We looked for one at the rescue sites, pet stores, and online before we finally met this adorable little girl.  We named her Schatzi.

Isn't she adorable?  We thought so!!  She was such a great little puppy, so full of love and energy!  We took her to the dog park, cuddled with her on the couch and walked her daily.  She played so well with a neighbor dog of ours so we decided to get her a playmate, meet Bailey:

Bailey and Schatzi were such great puppies, full of love and energy.  So, as you guessed from the title, this must have something to do with furniture and Gardner-White.  Meet my kitchen table:

Before my husband and I got married I pined over this set for months, visiting, wishing, saving!  My future mother-in-law went with me on one such visit and offered to buy it for us as a wedding gift!  I was delighted! The perfect table!
Of course the story does not end there!!!!  Meet Rosaleigh:

Our darling daughter completely changed the dynamic in our home.  The poor puppies were kept in the kitchen and didn't get all the attention they were used to getting.  We still took the puppies on walks, but we didn't visit the dog park as often, and when Rosa was awake, they were locked in the kitchen.

And this is what happened:

And this:

The damage was so bad we had to throw away one of the chairs as it was not repairable.  And as you can see, some of the chairs are of questionable integrity.
PLEASE Gardner-White, pick me to win the $1000 prize and save us from a potential mishap at the dinner table!!!

Here is what I would love to replace my kitchen table with:
Of course, once I got looking, I couldn't resist looking at all the other fab furniture available at their store, I would love this too:
Oh, and we could use the TV too... for sure!

Just in case you are wondering what happened to our adorable puppies, Schatzi is living with a wonderful family who have three boys.  She is certified as a therapy/service dog for the family.  She is a very happy puppy who romps around with the boys in their huge back yard.  She sleeps in bed with the youngest boy every night and travels with the family wherever they go.

Bailey is enjoying life with a family with two girls.  They live near a state park and she goes for daily walks with the family.  Both dogs are much happier with their new families who shower them with love and attention.
